Cllr Chloe Alderman was delighted to attend the Parkside 50+ Group's Christmas Meeting and Lunch this afternoon. Members of the group were very welcoming, and even invited Chloe and the Town Clerk up for a boogie to the brilliant @carabosinger (a link to her Facebook page can be found below).
Cllr Alderman helped fund the event as a part of her 20% pledge, a promise she made to put 20% of her Councillor Salary back into the community of Houghton Regis East. She believes that supporting community groups and charities should be at the heart of what Councillors do, and is always on the look out for causes to give to.
