As some of your recall I have been campaigning for Central Bedfordshire Council to set up a task force to proactively take a stand against the inequalities caused by poverty within our communities but also work towards eradicating them. [*] This was endorsed at a Council Meeting on Wednesday.
This task force will look at Education, economic resilience and housing as they all play a key role in making sure that people don’t get left behind, so there will be renewed focus on improving educational achievement, creating opportunities for rewarding work and providing access to high-quality housing.
