He cares passionately about education, helping out with local school assemblies and being Vice Chair of Governors at Tithe Farm Primary. Chris enjoyed his term as Town Mayor and believes that we must promote our town and embrace the exciting developments that come our way. He has enjoyed the past 4 years on the town council especially on the working groups responsible for the town events such as the Carnival, Houghton Rocks and the fireworks in Tithe Farm.

He is now a full time carer, so readily understands the daily challenges of living with a disability. He is already the housing representative and local residents have found Jonathon to be a reliable, helpful and approachable person.

Syed Abbas

Syed has been a resident of Houghton Regis for many years. He works in London as a Management Consultant. With a young family he is interested in improving facilities for children and if elected he will press for more action to counter low level anti-social behaviour.

Susie Carlino

She has run her own Designer Draping business in the events industry since 1994 which has taken her all over the world on many high profile events. She enjoys walking her dog in Houghton Hall Park and the quarry so is keen to promote these places as much as possible. She has enjoyed the variety of animals that have been seen to return to the quarry in particular Red Kites.

Barnes Mayunga

Barnes guarantees that he will support the residents of Houghton Hall in any way he can. He has been involved with Shelter and has experience of dealing with a range of housing issues. The NHS is also dear to his heart and will campaign to keep adequate local provision in the town.
